Get used to it. Compatability issues aside, this new OS will continue to dominate the world market as each of its predecessors have. Microsoft is working to make big changes for security and have already fully supported most of the major manufacturers. If you want to do business, you better start getting ready for Vista. Before you know it, Vista will be everywhere, and all of you XP users will be left behind with the unfortunate PC users who struggle to get by with 98, ME, NT and 2000. Get used to it, Vista is here to stay.

Everyone and their mother will be using vista in the next couple years. All the games and shareware you could ever want are supported by it. It is an operating system that has yet to receive any content packets or patches. To claim it is a disappointment is to disregard all the inevitable upgrades it will see. The only disappointing thing about Vista is that I have to upgrade my PC to get it to run properly.

If your operating system has to support all sorts of software and hardware components that haven't even been designed when you release you OS then of course it's going to be a little less stable then a system in which every component is tested with the OS before they sell it to you.
