Maybe I just don't want to believe it. You raise some good points, but in my opinion, most of the 9/11 truth movement is a symptom of terrorism, and has nothing to do with the government. Let's say there was some government involvement. How many was it? The guy who changes light bulbs in the street lamps, the firemen, the cops, the garbage men? Just how deep do you think this conspiracy goes? I think most government employees had nothing to do with it.
If anyone in the government was involved, or was aware and restricted from talking about it, we need to know. The problem is all of the secrecy. We need to press our government to be more open about the shady dealings of the NSA, CIA and whatever other secret organization have been created since Bushco and his cronies took over.
Ultimately, however, I think that the trend which has begun to popularize is dangerous. People have begun to have a basic distrust for the government, and this represents a tragic turn for America. Our democracy is unique in that it can heal itself like no government ever before it. The problem is that the fear we have been subject too has allowed the current ruling party to damage the government's ability to weed out the bad apples.
My point is this: we don't have to throw out the whole government even if there were some connections, some omissions, etc. That's exactly the kind of destabilization that the terrorists, foreign or domestic, were going for.
The 9/11 truth movement is just more and more terror, fear and paranoia, when what this country really needs is logic, reason, and a commitment to justice. When you have the proof, and some names, that's when I want to hear about it. If all you have is speculation, which most of that evidence is, stop doing the neocons a favor by scaring the crap out of everyone.
