The White House and the Pentagon should do what the American people have demonstrated that they want time and time again. Bush needs to stop this aggressive posturing before things get any more out of hand. We can't afford the wars we're already in, the last thing we need is another war with no exit strategy.

It doesn't matter what the cost is, America must do everything in it's power to keep hostile regimes from obtaining nuclear weapons. The President should have the support of the congress for this if intelligence shows that it is necessary. The President of Iran has made threatening statements and cannot be trusted to use nuclear technology for peaceful means.

Invading Iran will only put up the backs of people who otherwise might talk to us. They'll get the weapons if they really want them; stopping that shouldn't be our focus. If we really want to prevent nuclear war, we should stop violating nuclear treaties we've made with other nations and focus on wondering why in the world Iran would want to blow us up and fix those problems rather than act like a holes.

The only people seriously talking about invading Iran are fear-mongering Democrats. It's the same story as with the draft in 2004-- remember when everyone was suddenly worried the war hawk Republicans would reinstate the draft? No one seemed to care that the draft bill was actually introduced to the Senate by two Democrats. It was nothing more than a political stunt then, and the same is true of Iran now.
