Not only is he a great public speaker with good ideas for the country, he would also have a great chance of winning if nominated. Some people complain of a lack of experience, but I think the less time spent being corrupted in DC, the better. We have a potential candidate with great potential here, and democrats need to embrace him as the charismatic leader he was born to be.

Sure he might be popular now, but Obama has never had to go through a real election. His landslide over Alan Keyes was the result of limited conservative support. He has never had to fight like he will need to if he wants to win in 2008. America is not ready for a black president, and even with all of the polls turning to favor democrats, if they run Obama, he will lose.
He's smart, funny and he's got more charisma than anyone else in the race.
